The 80 Day Obsession Workouts

What’s unique about this program is that it was filmed in REAL TIME.  Meaning you get a brand new workout for 80 days straight and you will follow along with the cast as they transform their own bodies – basically, you’re doing a new workout every single day! Workouts are great for weight loss while toning your core and shaping your booty.  The workouts are intense… but no worries, you can modify any of the moves as needed and still get amazing results. I modified a TON and could not even believe how much stronger I got week after week.  These workouts are for anyone committed to seeing REAL CHANGE in 80 days. The workouts range from about 35 minutes to an hour in length…. all designed to get you in the BEST SHAPE OF YOUR LIFE.  Who doesn’t want that, right?!?  You’ll get a total body workout, but on some days focus entirely on your butt, your legs, and upper body! Cardio is also part of the mix to maximize that fat burn.

80 Day Obsession follows a 13-week format, with six workouts each week and a rest day.  So, the entire series of 80 workouts is spread out over 91 days.

80 Day Obsession Supplements

To boost your workout performance and get MAX results, it is recommended to use Beachbody Performance Energize* (that yellow “mommy juice” I slam every morning!) 15-30 minutes before your workout. Because your muscles will be sore, it’s recommended that you use Beachbody Performance Recover* after your workout. And if you really want to maximize your results,  Beachbody Performance Recharge* at night 30 minutes before you go to bed to speed muscle recovery. What is timed nutrition?
Timed nutrition has nothing to do with intermittent fasting, contrary to what some might think.  It’s basically Autumn Calabrese (creator of the 21 Day Fix and the Portion Control Container System) just answering some of the questions she’s received over the years on the best containers to eat at what times of the day.  For example, what should you eat before your workout and the best things to eat AFTER.  When should I be done with my yellows?  All timed nutrition meals is that Autumn is suggesting the best macronutrients to eat when. You still get to decide what you are eating and when you are eating it.
 
What about the pre-workout meal?
It’s supposed to be eating an hour and a half to two hours before I work out.  What if I’m an early riser and need to work out right away?
The tough love answer is that you should still eat before you work out – it’s called OBSESSION for a reason.  However, you can sub out Meal One for your pre-workout meal and do it 20 minutes before your workout instead of an hour and a half or two.  If you still can’t adhere to that, you simply start your timed nutrition after you’re done with your workout.
What does the name OBSESSION mean?
80 Day Obsession is all about COMMITTING to YOURSELF.  The word obsession has nothing to do with obsessing about the number on the scale, it has nothing to do with obsessing over how you look, or obsessing over calories.  It’s about having a certain level of obsession over yourself and your self-care… and being OK with where you are right now, while working on becoming the BEST YOU EVER.  That’s what being obsessed is all about.

 

The focus of 80 Day Obsession is 3-fold.

1. Build the glutes.  Yes, we all want a great looking backside but it’s just as important to have a strong butt.  That’s right, glutes are a big muscle that do a lot of work.  We spend a lot of our day sitting on our butts so we need to get those muscles firing and functioning properly.

2. Reduce total body fat, especially in the stubborn belly area (a lot of this is done in the kitchen)

3. It is proven (just look at those before and afters!) that with emphasis on the right combination of exercises and timed nutrition, getting a shaped booty, flat & defined abs, and sculpted legs doesn’t have to be restricted to the genetically gifted. Your arms, abs and a$$ are made of muscle and just like any other muscle in the body, they can be built and sculpted.

I am most excited about the fact that the 80 Day Obsession workouts are delivered over the course of 13 weeks. This isn’t 7 workouts on repeat. Every workout is unique so it keeps your body (and your mind) guessing and you never get bored. It’s like having a personal trainer with you every day!
